more parties!!!

This has been an absolutely crazy week.....it has been full of parties, parties, parties. Most of our work engagement teams all decided to do pot-luck dinners. It was actually pretty amusing when we were trying to decide where to have them -- most everyone lives in the suburbs...except me. So I was the lucky host of 2 dinners - one for 13 and one for 12. Yes, you read that right - and even better - two days in a row! At least I could serve the same thing two nights in a row! (and don't worry - it was pot luck and I only did the main dish and an appetizer! Plus, my staff were awesome and totally helped set up and clean up!) So, no pictures from those- I would have looked horrible after being in the kitchen so long!!)

Then Friday night we went to a birthday party for our friend JM -- her fiance threw her a party and it was a lot of fun. (see picture above of me, JM and LM). They had the most fabulous caterer come and cook appetizers for us...I need to get her name - she was soooooo good. I think she would be great to get cooking lessons for! Her crab cakes were to die for! The next pict was of all the girls...well, most of them!



Then Saturday - after a day of Christmas shopping than then required a nap because it was so painful....I had two more parties! My friend KC had her annual Christmas Party...it is always so much fun and we get to catch up with people we haven't seen in so long (some, potentially since the last party!). Of course, KC did a FABULOUS job with the food and we had a good time catching up with everyone. The boys were out of control and kept us laughing the entire time. Below, a pict of me and SM.

After KC's party, one of our friends from work had a party -- CL. Below is a picture of the two of us. It was a wild party....I don't want to go into all of it, but it was a trip. We laughed a lot and I saw people I haven't seen in a really long time!

Here is me, CC, and LM. We brought CC along to play with us -- and he got hit on all night long. It was hilarious...mainly becuase he got hit on by men. We did have some funny conversations that night...until we got back to LM's house at midnight....and CC's car had been towed. I ended up driving him to the ghetto to get it at 12:30 and it was a very long night!!!

Today we went to our friend CC's house for a cookie decorating party...it was a great time - I'll have to post pictures later! It's been a LONG weekend...but fun. one more day at work and then I am off for the holidays! YAHOO!!!!!
