A group of girls had been out and were discussing wanting to go to the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. It happens every Sunday morning and we had heard some great things about it. So we bought tickets and went a couple of weekends ago. First of all, the food was FABULOUS....and there was a LOT of it! And then there was the music. WOW. You can see in the picutre above that she was definitely into her singing and that these ladies could belt it out. It was awesome. The songs cracked me up -- one of them kept saying in the chorus "No one will do you like Jesus." I mean, really?
Here is KF, LM and I. It seems so weird that LM and I recruited KF about 6 years ago....and we still hang out together! I just HEART these girls!
And here is MP, SW and her BF. These are also KPMG peeps (Mary doesn't work there anymore either...) and we LOVE getting to hang out with them too. They were in the same recruiting class as KF so we got to know them all around the same time!
All in all, it was a great way to spend a Sunday morning....and just remember, no one is gonna do you like Jesus! Ha!
