My friend Rob started work with me...he, JY and I were all in the same start class and we are the only three left. Yes, we are all three the only crazy ones left. Rob turned 30 this year and decided for his birthday he wanted to do what he always wanted to do....be a rockstar. So he and his college friends got together - as most are very musically talented - and decided to rent out a club and have a concert. And that is what they did....
Here is Rob and the boys jamming out...they did such a great job. You would have never known that he is an accountant!!! They did all these cover songs - rock, alternative, just about everything. My favorite was when they busted out with tenacious D -- yes, the bad song -- with their parents in the room. awesome.
In the above picture - the best thing is his roommate RT - on the far right playing the base. He just learned how to play 3 months ago. Most pictures he is totally concentrating, but I like this one because I caught him smiling!
And below is me and JY - she had flown in all the way from NYC - she had lots of events that weekend and I was glad to get to see her at one of them! It was good to catch up - even if for a moment.
And I dragged SM with me to go and listen to them. It was fun to get to listen to some live music and meet the Midland crew. It was fun to get to catch up with her too! (and yes, I know that this picture is going to look a LOT like the one in the previous post. yes, i am wearing the same thing - promise it was a week later!)
What I loved most about that night is that Rob got to do what he had always dreamed to do...and he was really good at it, and loved every minute! happy b-day roberto!

Yeah! Fun pics! I love it when we get to hang out too! Hopefully we can start our walking as soon as busy season is over! Hang in there!!
