I am STILL waiting on the doctor to call me back. She said last friday - it is Wednesday. I called her office yesterday and left a message but still haven't heard back. Why is it so hard to make a phone call and say, Ms. Lippe, here are your results, this is too low, we need to do this - take 1 pill a day, take 1/2 a pill a day, something.
I just hate waiting.
*sigh*

OH, and I did some research on the whole radioactive iodine....its much scarier than I thought (just by reading the "how to handle yourself when you take it". Dr swears it is safe - with all the precautions to take it seems scary. I mean, you can't be arms length away from a person for more than 2 hours for somewhere between a week and 11 days. no preparing food for others to eat, washing utensils / sheets / clothes immediately after use. And no prego for a year. Not that I have to worry, but still, who says I can't fall in love and be married in a year :) here's to hoping!!!
Anyway, we'll see what the dr says...I want to talk to her about the level of pill I would take and how long it would be and weigh the surgery option too. it may be easier than this - i just don't know what the risks are.
