wow...

I feel like I keep finding more things to do, but the time keeps getting away from me! Between work, trying to keep up with friends (and not doing such a hot job at that!), and trying to keep my commitments at the JL, well, I feel like there is absolutely NO free time. Add in three good friends getting married, quite a few preggo or just had a baby, and well, let's just say that the social calendar is full!

Last week we had a trip to Los Angeles for work which was way too much fun, but it was also very exhausting. We stayed at a Kimpton hotel, and I loved it. It was a boutique hotel and my favorite thing about it was the robes --- instead of just white robes, they were leopard and zebra print! how fun is that! I love where our Company's headquarters is in LA - it is right by UCLA and there are so many great restaurants and of course, coffee shops!

Then we got back late friday night and I did my JL duties Sat morning and then attended a lovely wedding shower for our friend JH. (I have one picture - but of course - I haven't pulled it off the camera yet!) It was fun to get to catch up with some old KPMG friends and of course JH and her family! Then that night I got to hang out with my dear friend KJ -- who I am excited is coming back to H-town!!!! I can't wait to have her back so close -- well, and her cute kiddos too!!!

Sunday I got to attend church with a friend from KPMG and Miss LM. I LOVED that church....I am slightly annoyed it is in Sugarland, but to be honest, I like it so much, I would drive. There are still a few more things I need to figure out, but I am hoping I can get back soon to see what I can learn about it!!! I just wish I wasn't out of town about every weekend from now till mid-September.

Then I got to take a quick trip to Midland to visit some of my financial analysts that work for me. It was SUCH a fun trip - mainly because they are so stinking awesome. We had a good time getting to know each other and planning my impending tour around West Texas to visit some of our plants and fields. They are calling it the Lippe F-in-A Summer Lovin tour....it was really a funny story as how it came out -- which I won't recap all of it here - but the F - in - A was partly because we call them FA's and then I accidentally dropped an F-bomb....and that was born. Then the summer lovin part came after we were talking about going to visit one of the plants and they mentioned I had to sleep with the cook....I got this look on my face and they all started laughing....it appears that the cook is a woman and there is only two bedrooms in the house so you have to sleep in the same room with the cook. They were so funny.....and kept bringing it up and saying they want T-shirts! I can't wait for the West Texas Tour!!!

Then I got to go to Radio Lollipop again this week and it was so great.....I just love going to volunteer at Texas Childrens and get to hang out with the kiddos and their parents. I was going to go back today...but then work got a little intense and I didn't get to go. So sad.

And this weekend I am excited to get to go celebrate Miss JM's bachelorette party in Austin! It is going to be so much fun!!! Can't wait!
