so sorry....

so sorry to my public accounting friends who keep checking in for a break at work and I haven't updated anything! ha, ha. work has just been so super busy and I literally get home so exhausted I barely have the energy to maintain my farm on farmville....ha!

We are done with "busy season" but are in the middle of a system conversion and it is just painful. There is a lot of work to do, and there is a TON of complaining....and people who want to be hand held. And if you know me, that is definitely NOT my M.O. So, I think that wears me out even more. But, the only saving grace is I have my 9/80 day tomorrow!! WOO-HOO!!! I am so thankful for those days....tomorrow is a day to get my life back in order -- first, the dentist....is it sick that I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned? If I could, I would get them cleaned way more often than every 6 months! Second - lunch with SM....at my favorite Zoe's...I'm in love with that place and their chicken kabobs. Third - massages and dinner with LM. I mean, could it get any better than that?!?!? That is exactly what I need for a day off.

I am even more excited that my necklace I got for Christmas is fixed and in..I LOVE IT and can't wait to wear it...and I have the best sister ever who purchased it for me!!!! Did I mention it came in a teal box with a white ribbon on it?!? yep, sure did. (and I took a picture of it, but of course, since the camera broke, well, I can't post how pretty it is! Too bad the chain was too short so I had to take it in to get it lengthened!) I might have to make a trip to the mall to pick it up!

AND in more fun news...I have spent a BOAT LOAD on tickets....there is a FABULOUS group of girls who are all going to Dallas to go see Bon Jovi...LOVE that, then we got tickets to Lady Antebellum, Brooks and Dunn and Brad Paisley at the Rodeo, then we got tickets to Reckless Kelly in Houston at the House of Blues and lastly we are getting tickets to Chelsea Handler here in Houston. I guess that will make it a VERY FUN next couple of months!!!! I can't wait!
