Easter Brunch with Seguin Friends

We started a "tradition" last year, inviting a bunch of the girls we keep up with from Seguin over for Brunch Easter weekend. I say Tradition, because at A&M, if you do something twice, it is considered a tradition! All the girls, their kiddso and their mom's come over....and if we are lucky a few husbands too...but this year poor J was the only one who came! But secretly I think he liked getting to be surrounded by girls! ha, ha.

Above are all the girls - AN, KL, AS (with a baby S in her tummy!), me, CS, GG and KE. (you can see some of the kiddos running around in the background!) We love just getting to catch up - and the beauty of the house in Seguin is there is LOTS of room for the kids to run around so we can spend the time talking and laughing.

Here is the mom pict -- they have all known each other for a LONG time...since most of us have been friends since we were in elementary school!!!

After we finish brunch, we head into the front yard to hunt eggs.....here is a picture of the N's after the hunt...the thing I love the best is that every year these kiddos grow SO much - I mean last year the littlest N was a baby!!! This year she was waddling around trying to pick up eggs! So much fun!

And here is GG with Baby J and her mom. He is just SO stinking cute. I loved getting to hold this little wiggle worm and getting him to smile....which ironically he was doing the whole time except when we wanted to take pictures!
And here is my little Mini-Me. I need to find pictures of me when I was a baby - but I swear - this was me. In every way possible. She threw a fit when they got there because she wasn't going to get her way. CHECK. She loves to eat. CHECK. Laughing all the time and playing everywhere. CHECK. I just want to take her home with me!

And here is sweet JAS. She got a slinky in one of the eggs and she was playing with my mom -- my mom would hold one end and JAS would pull it really far back and let go. It was so cute. I just LOVE that smile. Please notice all the other kids sitting down opening eggs - so excited to see what was inside!

Here is JS and little JE. they were going through eggs. I'm pretty sure they were JS's eggs and JE was just looking for loot...but they were all so good sharing their loot!

And look here -- sweet little AS. He was ABSOLUTELY precious hunting eggs. he would do this little dance when he found it - up and down - shaking the eggs. I just almost couldn't stand it he was so cute.

All in all it was a GREAT morning - I just love getting to spend time with those girls and their kiddos (and their mom's too!). This is one tradition that will stand for a long time!
