lately....

I think I am back...then I get sidetracked again. It happens all the time. Just ask my staff when they come to my office. My attention span is about 20 minutes....or maybe less. I've been WANTING to blog, but I've been so tired. We changed my meds again at my last doctors visit, and now I'm wanting to go to bed around 7 pm....and wanting to sleep till 10 am. Needless to say I have raised my meds back up -- hopefully that will help! So I will try to get this one done fast so I can head out to church! 

The pict above I had to put up -- its one of my favorites. I got a call from my favorite makeup guy, Isaac, at Dolce and Gabana and they were having makeovers with champagne and mini manicures....Um, sign me up! LG loves Isaac just as much as I do so off we went. It was funny because everyone kept asking if we had hot dates....and where were we going to go? We would just laugh and say dinner...with LG's husband...at the restaurant we always go to! We are getting so old! But we had a great time and a great dinner too! I mean, you can't go wrong with La Vista! 

This weekend we all went to a baby shower for Baby C that is due in soon! All the dinner club girls got together (well, besides Miss LG who unfortunately had to work! boo!) and we got to celebrate Baby C! Here is PR, SM, KC, me and MD! 

And we were blessed to have Baby P with us too! It was fun getting to play with him and follow him around. The house where the shower was was AMAZING. It was so beautiful - I wish I could have seen the whole house! But I'd be happy just in the cabana! 

And here is me and MG - we are SO excited that she is back in Houston! It will be fun to have her back at the table for our dinner parties and getting to play more often with her sweet little girl!

Then last night we went out to dinner because LC's friend AC was in town. It was so fun to get to hang out with this crew....Here is me and LC.

And here is AC and LM. We love it when we can convince AC to come down and play....well, LC is usually the convincer! Its always fun to get to have more people join our party! And it was fun because there was a whole other crew there that I didn't get a picture of -- but LC's husband worked with a girl named Rose who has a friend who referred LM to her new job, and they all joined us for dinner too. It was fun to get to meet them and laugh a ton at dinner!

And her is our side of the table - I mean, we had to get a picture of CC on the blog. He cracks me up - I wish you could have seen his heinous shoes.....these ugly white things that he swore he wore just because he knows how much I hate them. Yep, that would be par for the course with that boy! But it was fun to get to see him since we can't get him to come and play with us as much as we used to!

It was a fabulous weekend....and I loved it because I got to clean today and am ready for the week ahead. Its close time again....already. It seems like it was just yesterday we were closing December! And this month starts the "working two jobs"....while I wait for those taking over my job to get here and starting to train with the girl whose job I am taking! Its going to be a crazy month....and I guess I need to tell you all about the new job...but its going to have to wait - because it is time for me to go to church!
